Small Wedding Venues in Singapore
My favourite weddings tend to be the small, intimate celebrations.
After attending weddings in all kind of spaces, grand ballrooms, rooftops, gardens, restaurants and private venues, the ones that stay with me are those where the couple actually gets to talk to every guest, ample time to mingle, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere feels personal rather than performative.
Here are some of the best small venues, in my humble opinion, to host an intimate wedding in Singapore right now.
Garden & Colonial Favourites
The Summerhouse (Seletar Aerospace Park)
Charming heritage bungalow with garden lawns, conservatory-style spaces and farm-to-table dining. Ideal for daytime or golden-hour ceremonies followed by a relaxed reception. Capacity works well for 40–80+ depending on layout. Perfect if you want greenery without leaving the island.
Vineyard at HortPark
French-inspired spot nestled in the Southern Ridges with a patio overlooking a reflecting pool, excellent for sunset vows. Indoor dining hall and verandah for the reception. Strong all-inclusive packages and capacities that suit 50–85 guests comfortably.
Tropical & City Options
Wheeler’s Tropikana (Gillman Barracks)
Bali-inspired tropical oasis with outdoor pool lawn, alfresco spaces and an indoor Level 2 area. Level 2 seats up to 60 and the private room / Oasis Lounge works for 20–60, making it easy to keep things intimate under 100 guests. Lush, photogenic and relaxed. Honestly, a strong choice if you want a holiday-vibe celebration without leaving Singapore.
Alcove at Caldwell House (CHIJMES)
Neoclassical heritage space with elegant proportions. Works beautifully for 30–80/100 guests. Historic feel right in the city, with the option to pair with CHIJMES Hall if you need a bit more space for the reception.
Other Strong Contenders
Little Island Brewing Co — relaxed, waterfront, great for casual daytime or evening celebrations.
Keyaki at Pan Pacific — Japanese garden setting in the city for a peaceful, refined feel.
Min Jiang at Dempsey — private rooms or buyouts for Chinese-style intimate banquets.
A few practical notes
Book early for popular garden, colonial and tropical spots (9–12+ months for peak dates).
Always confirm current capacity, minimum spend, wet-weather plans and whether external vendors are allowed.
Many of these places shine with 40–80 guests. It's enough to feel celebratory, small enough that conversations actually happen.
If you’re doing ROM on-site, prioritise venues that are already registered.
These are the places I would love to share with couples who want the day to feel personal rather than production-heavy.
